(I think this is actually Caleb wearing the costume for dress up later though)

I was REALLY pregnant with Caleb and didn't go to this "Lord of The Beans" movie premiere at our church.

2006 (Caleb was a pumpkin, but I couldn't find a picture)
It was so cold that Aidan wore his snow pants under the costume.

And now, 2010...

Cindy Loo Who

The Grinch
Almanzo- Farmer Boy

(Logan has some very cute pajamas.)

Thanks, but I only get to take credit for 2007, 2009, & 2010.

2003-2005 were store bought, my mom made 2006, and Leigh's Mother In Law made the 2008 costumes for Nathan and his brother when they were little and saved them and we borrowed!

Did he pick to be Almanzo? That's so fun! Great costumes Heidi!

This year, Ashleigh and Eva were dinosaurs, and Sean was a clown, so we'll have to send a picture so you can pair it with your 2008 photo.

I was just talking with out daycare provider this morning about how she doesn't like Halloween because it's all about the candy. On that note, my mom bought a pomegranate for the kids' Halloween treat, and we learned how to cut it open - I'd never had one before and we all loved the taste of the seeds (even Nathan!).

That would be fun to compare pictures! Aidan sent a *letter* today. Actually, he tore out a page of his nature journal to send her, but that's another story.....

Angie- He LOVES anything Little House, which of course includes Almanzo.

Oh, thank you for this post. It's comforting to know we are not alone in the preference to snuggle at home with hand-baked goodies and kiddies rather than to battle hordes of children verging on sugar-induced comas. Yes, we did venture out and our kids came back with handful and we actually pleased with what appeared to be little.

I miss our homeschool group and trunk or treating. But all in all, we enjoyed our short stint into the world of trick or treating this year.
