Waff-elets

Omelets

Wafflettes 2

made in a waffle iron.

Preheat the waffle iron
Spray really well with nonstick spray
Fill each square with about 1/4 cup of beaten egg
Top with your favorite fillings (you don't need much)
Add a little more egg
Sprinkle with about 1 tablespoon of cheese
Close the top
Wait about 2 minutes
Open and serve

Timing really depends on how much filling you use, but it does not take long.

You do need to work quickly because the egg starts cooking as soon as it hits the waffle iron.
I recommend asking the kids which toppings they would like before adding the egg.
12 eggs made 10 4 inch waff-elets.
