All of the stuff that I will eventually be missing...or maybe not.  I found a couple of boxes of food in here the day after we moved.  Non perishables thankfully!
Is that real enough for you?

Obviously we are in, but we equally obviously have a long ways to go!

Totally enjoyed the house pictures. Thanks for the tour! What a nice home! I can relate to the statement 'we have a long way to go' here, too and we've been for over a month now, crazy!

Also, I appreciate you keeping it real. Sometimes, when I read your blog I don't picture your kids with 'scary' bedrooms or any of your things in disarray or out of place. If that's true on a 'normal day' (good for you) at least this post made me feel better about my 'scary' rooms. Love and prayers, Heidi!

Oh man Angie it is quite clear you have never met me in person. First of all, my children are ALWAYS dirty. I kid you not. Faces, hands, whatever they are always a mess. They never wear socks and half the time their shoes don't match. Snow boots to church when its 45? absolutely. Sometimes I post pictures on my blog and then wonder what people could possibly think!

Second of all, while I may have a knack for keeping clutter at a minimum and therefore am able to keep the main living areas (think publicly viewable) mostly decent (because I make my kids pick them up 3 times/day minimum- which I could not do when I had children 3-4 and under) further inspection will almost certainly reveal a significant layer of dirt and grime. We hired someone to clean our old house we moved out of and they told us 2.5-3 hours total....yeah we ultimately ended up paying for 5!

Last time she came my MIL scrubbed the inside of my microwave. I was all excited to see it clean and thought that Tim had cleaned it for me until Aidan burst my bubble and told me that Grandma did it. How embarrassing!
