Thanks for sharing Heidi. Like you, we were open to homeschooling but personally, I was leaning more towards "regular" school. After some incidents (2 in particular) I decided against school. Not worth it. And, I always threaten AJ when he's being "the oldest child" that he won't get to be with his baby brother because he'll be gone all day long. (Nice mom, I know).

Great post. It seems like most of the people I know who homeschool were/are educators.

I wonder how many people would find they actually liked it if they gave homeschooling a try.

The fact that it gives everyone involved more focus on the family is my favorite reason foe homeschoolong. :)

I really enjoyed your post about homeschooling. As a person who worked in education(as a paraprofessional) for 15 years I can understand your choice. I only wish I'd known that I had a choice when my daughter was young(31 yrs ago). She always hated going to school. Now she has a daughter of her own, and is considering homeschooling for her. Thanks for sharing your experience.
